The Broward Young Democrats (BYD) is the official youth arm of the Democratic Party in Broward County. We are open to all Democrats! Our membership includes high school & college students, young professionals, state and local leaders, and veteran activists. We work to affect the democratic process through our participation in the campaign and elections process, grassroots organization, fundraising, and by encouraging youth involvement in the democratic process. Many elected officials and party leaders have gotten their start with the BYD’s.

We meet on the second Monday of each month at Cowboy Saloon Davie located at 1805 S. University Dr. Davie, FL 33324. Our meetings begin with a social held at 6:30 PM followed by a formal program at 7:30 PM. We often host elected officials, journalists, community leaders, candidates, activists and many others as featured speakers. Our meetings are also used to educate our members on ballot initiatives, training on grassroots campaign methods, planning club events, and discussing issues affecting our communities.
