We’re the Broward Young Democrats.
Our friends call us “the BYDs”.
The Broward Young Democrats is the official local chapter in Broward County of the Florida Young Democrats (FYD) and the Young Democrats of America (YDA). Our members are high school & college students, young professionals, state & local leaders, and veteran activists. We exist to engage, organize and mobilize young people in the Democratic party. We are not just the next generation of Democratic leaders; we ARE today's generation.We work to register young voters, elect leaders that represent progressive values, and advocate for important issues, including environmental preservation, LGBTQ+ rights, and reproductive rights, to name a few.Many elected officials and party leaders get their start with the BYDs. Monthly Meeting
We meet the second Monday of every month at 6:30pm.
Location is typically at Uncommon Path Brewing; however stay tuned to our newsletter & socials for any changes.
